Ski Conditioning

Downhill skiing, snowboarding and nordic skiing require specific preparations and conditioning routines to ensure safe winter fun. Strength, flexibility, endurance and skills exercises for skiers and boarders are essential for both recreational and the expert skiers. Most skiers return to the slopes after months away. Some participate in other sports during the off season to stay in shape, but many are weekend warriors. No matter where you fitness is, you could wind up with minor aches, pains or serious injury if you don't spend a little time preparing.
Join Sarah for a ski and winter sports conditioning class to get you prepped for the slopes. We'll focus on muscular strength, explosive power, flexibility, endurance and agility with many weighted, plyometric and core exercises. Plus, get a few tips on on-the-hill exercises and nutrition tips to keep you going strong all day. The four week program starts the beginning of November, to get you ready in time for when the snow is flying and the skiing is primo!

Dates:  November 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19

Time: Tuesday and Thursdays 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.

Investment: $120 early bird by October 23 or $130 regular

Nutrition Workshop


If you have ever wondered the basics of how to eat balanced, shop natural the easy way and save money, how to reset your body with a cleanse or how to eat to enhance your athletic performance, then this workshop is for you.

We will cover a variety of topics so you can apply and integrate all aspects of nutrition so that it fits your lifestyle.

Four workshops with Terri and Sarah will include a food log, new and exciting recipes and a final celebratory meal our last session where we will apply everything we learned (in moderation, of course) in practice.
