No. You will receive a class package to use at any time during or after your session depending on your situation.

I don’t have a regular yoga practice, I am not very flexible or I am new to yoga. Can I participate in Teacher Training? What do I need to do to prepare?

The program offers you a deeper insight of why we do yoga and ways to receive benefits yoga offers. To prepare you might want to attend a more yoga classes!

I see that this is a 200-hour program but you only offer 180 hours. What else do I need to do to get the rest? How much does this cost?
Our program offers 180 classroom contact hours necessary to obtain your Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Level certification. You are also required to complete an additional 20 hours of non-contact hours. These hours may be obtained through completing all of your at home reading. You may satisfy the remaining 20 elective hours reading other appropriate materials, meditation retreat, self-study, etc... Lastly, there are 6 observation hours that you can do at our studio at no cost to you.

I would like to do the payment plan. What is involved?
You will need to put down a $63 deposit to reserve your space. Typically after that we break the remaining amount into three payments, the last one being due prior to the last day of teacher training classroom hours.

If you are interested in this option, please make yourdeposit and indicate that you are interested in the payment plan on your application. You will be asked to fill the payment plan form on the first day of your session in order to schedule your payments.

I already know I am going to have to miss a few dates. How do I make-up the time missed?
In order to receive your certificate of completion you must complete 180 hours of contact hours. These hours are provided to you in the form of classroom hours. If you are unable to make a session, you will need to complete 2 steps.
 1.  You will need to show proficiency in any content that you missed through a written essay on that content.
 2.  You will need to complete an equal number of contact hours to those that you missed. This may be done through   workshop attendance (topic must be approved), additional observation hours, teaching assisting or through a paid   private session with an instructor.
We ask that you dedicate yourself with a 100% commitment to all the learning that is extended. Please arrive a few minutes early to each session so you can be ready to start promptly at the opening. You are expected to stay for the entire duration of each session. Excessive tardiness or leaving early will jeopardize your participation and certification in this training program.
Each trainee is responsible for assuring that all necessary paperwork is filled out and that all requirements for make-up are completed prior to the end of the training program.

What do I bring to class? What do I wear?
Each class will have some sort of yoga practice. So we recommend wearing yoga clothes. Because we sometimes get sweaty we also recommend bringing an extra set of clothes to change into.
We provide you with a binder but you will want to bring a notebook and a pen to take notes.
You will be able to take short breaks and/or a lunch break depending on the length of your day. You may want to bring food to eat during those breaks. We have a small refrigerator for you to keep your snacks/lunch cold.
Bring water!! You will want to stay hydrated throughout the day.
Please contact us  for any additional questions regarding our program. We look forward to seeing you there.
